Gotta stop wanting God’s blessings in an immediate time manner ‘cause it’s gonna be more in his own timing. So hard. . but believing.

It’s hard to be grateful EVERY SINGLE day. There are days when I’m so overwhelmed with God’s grace. . Then there are days when I wonder if God is even listening. . like today. haha. You look at everyone around you and notice that they all seem to be moving forward. . and you look at yourself, and you look like you’re in the same place. At the bible study tonite, a single mother was speaking about the hardships she endured as she was raising her children. She said it was painfully difficult. One day, she realized that God cared about the itty bitty things. . every single dirty dish she washed. She was so grateful that he cared about the things she did at the house. The ‘minuscule’ things we do in life are highly disregarded by everyone around you, but you know what? They’re actually considered deeply precious to our Father’s eyes. He considers it as GEMS and he never forgets. Every single job application, each correction you apply to your resume and every prayer that is dug hidden in your heart- he knows. Although it’s not the “jumping-up-and-down-joy,” I can smile, because I know I am accepted in him. Satan tries to tell you that your identity comes from what you have done, but it’s a lie. Our identity comes from what the Lord has done for us, and only that! He never judges you what people say about you ‘cause HE has the final say. The future is looking bright. I’m declaring that for myself and others who are reading this!

“Arise (from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you- rise to a new life!)- Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord) for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness all peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you and His glory shall be seen on you.”

No man could ever fill the depths of our hearts, except the Lord, our savior. I wanna be head over heels over you, Jesus. Not the temporary satisfaction I can get from the world, but the eternal, everlasting love of our Creator. 

I surrender, Lord.

I’ve done what I could- it’s all up to you now. 

I know you’re training my patience, but it’s so hard.
